Enterprise Manager Settings.

  • I need a little help from the experts. I have a developer who is editing stored procedures within EM, and when a change is made and saved the ansi_nulls and quoted_identifiers are being set to off. This is making the stored procs fail when trying to run them. Is there somewhere to set the session defaults within EM.

I know that EM is an MMC snapin. Are these set at the MMC level.

    Thanks for any help.

  • Dont know the answer. But a good alternative is to make them use QA. EM is good for administering, not great for editing.

  • If you want to set as deafult then in EM you can right click the Server, choose properties, then on the Server Options tab (name may be wrong) you can set it on by default for the server.
