    Dont see "Transaction log shipping" option under properties under database properties.... why?

    Might be that the database in question is on an instance that does not support log shipping. ie. express

    Please execute the folowing against your instance and post the result

    select SERVERPROPERTY('edition')

    actually i want to do transaction log shipping from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 in order to keep the tow databases in sync till migrate, that is the reason i am look for a way where i can do transaction log shipping.

    Native log shipping was only available in Enterprise Edition of SQL 2000. i've seen some home grown log shipping solutions for Standard Edition. A Google search should find them for you.
