Distribution Database MDF massive and not touched since 27/12 - how do I reduce it?

  Hi,

  This file is currently about 480GB and hasn't touched since 27/12/14 and I can see the log file has been updated in the last five minutes?

  I can see that the cleanup agent jobs are running but surely this file should not be this big?

  Do I need to back it up and then shrink it down?
