Developing plugins for MSSQL

    Hi,

    Just curious if anyone has recommendations for an article or book that provides a basic guideline for developing and installing plug-ins for SQL.

    The general idea is to add  items to the context menu when you right-click a database, table, view, or stored procedure from within MS SQL server.  Is this possible?  Somebody speak to me!!

    intresting idea. i think this is possible, try using the Visual Studio Add in project template

    Everything you can imagine is real.

    Just as example: Last year I created smth like EM+QA tool, using SMO, where I  excersized my creativity to add whatever I was thinking at that time....
