About the Company
As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and Independent Software Vendor, Cizer is growing its Solutions Team to increase our high-end implementations of our world-class Cizer.Net Reporting software, integrated with full-scale BI data mart solutions, scorecarding, analysis and reporting - all on the latest Microsoft platform. We also serve on the Microsoft Business Intelligence Partner Advisory Council and work closely with the Microsoft Business Scorecard Manager product group. Today our Solutions teams are implementing scorecarding/reporting for large Federal civilian and DOD agencies, as well as State and Local Government entities. Commercial implementations range from large ASP's to Independent Software Vendors servicing a wide range of vertical markets.
Don’t have all of the latest MS BI skillsets around SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Business Scorecard Manager, Performance Point and Sharepoint/MOSS – but still have solid foundations with SQL Server, DTS, Crystal or another reporting product – we want to talk to you! We deliver MS BI training from our own curriculum and our senior leadership (including Trey Johnson) is some of the best in business having spoken at Microsoft TechEd, PASS, VSLive, SQL Connections and other venues. Come work for Cizer Software if you’re a MICROSOFT BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PROFESSIONAL who supports business decision-making; enhances BI solution team accomplishments and competence; determines data requirements; develops data strategies; analyzes data; implements data schema; designs ETL processes and data presentation interfaces; tests data quality; maintains database performance; improves database performance; updates job knowledge; accomplishes organization goals.
Qualifications:
• Exposure to BI technologies and prior experience in one of the following
areas:
· ETL – SQL Server Integration Services or Data Transformation Services is preferred
· Dimensional Modeling – Development of Star and Snowflake schemas in SQL Server (and other RDBMS platforms)
· OLAP – Construction of cubes in SQL Server Analysis Services 2000 or 2005
· Reporting – Use of SQL Server Reporting Services (or another report designer)
• Full-lifecycle project experience and diversity of roles in one or more of the following areas: analyst, BI Engineer, Team Lead, Architect and QA.
• Familiarity with BI methodology, the work of Ralph Kimball in particular, and basic to advanced experience building data warehouses and BI solutions to capture data from diverse sources for analysis and access.
• Highly proactive. Chooses to take initiative and ownership of projects.
• Track record of successful participation on or leadership of teams
