Cube Editor Error

  • Hello everyone:

When I attempt to process a cube, I'm receiving the following error:

    Data source provider error: [Microsoft]

[ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too few

    parameters. Expected 1.

From my research, MDAC 2.1 cannot process a SELECT statement on columns with double quotes, but could with single quotes which it's doing. My question is this, is there a way I can edit the Process Cube function and replace the double quotes (") with single quotes (')?

Thank you for your help on this.

  • Probably some way to force it in the extended properties of the connection string...

  • Hi Keith,

Where can I find the extended propertied for the connect string?

    Thanks,

  • Right click the database connection and its the last tab along the top. What you can put in there involves trawling through the OLEDB for SQL server documentation.

  • Hi Keith,

Thank you for the info. I'm not sure what value to put into the 'Data Link Properties' when I right click on the Data Source name and click on 'Edit Value'.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
