sql server doesn't allow to create a trigger or stored proc on another DB.
is there any better way to do this?
Like:
Create Proc db1.dbo.ProcName
or
Create Trigger tri_Insert on db1.dbo.TableName

You could run the ddl-statement through a dynamic sql statement together with a 'USE otherdb' statement, or through a OPENQUERY link back to the same server. Why would you want to do this?

If you create an stored procedure begining with sp_ in the master, then you can use it from any database like all the stored procedures that come with SQL.
Although Microsoft doesn't recommended, if you know how to use it, i didn't find any problem.
