Every time i try changing the password using either Update Replicaiton passwords dialog box or using sp_changedisributor_password it errors out and the log agent goes in retries.
It errors out with a message
The process could not execute "sp_MSpub_adjust_identity'
Login failed for user "distributor_admin" failed.
I tried looking sp_MSpub_adjust_identity' what it does but couldn't find any good information on it.
Looking at the BOL, changing the password for distributor_admin seems pretty straight forward. But i keep on getting the same error.
