ConnectionRead (recv()) error

    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]ConnectionRead (recv()).

    I can't seem to resolve this error that appears intermittently in ASP. The IIS server uses an ODBC DSN to communicate through a firewall to a SQL server. Usually it works, sometimes we get this error.

    Any info greatly appreciated

    Had same situation and problem with SQL7 and vb apps. Have since put MDAC 2.7 on IIS (4.0) server and SP4 (SQL7 SP4 has reference to fix conn problems) and MDAC 2.7 on SQL (7.0) server. Since then have not seen problem but may be too early to tell as problem very intermittent.

    Far away is close at hand in the images of elsewhere.
