Changing datatype in a column

    Do I have to rebuild the Clustered columnstore index when we modify datatype in a column?

    Hmm.

    Presumably if SQL Server lets you alter the data type, then I would think the index should be good to go?!

    SQL DBA,SQL Server MVP(07, 08, 09) "Money can't buy you happiness." Maybe so, but it can make your unhappiness a LOT more comfortable!
