I am presently in an admin position the last few years. I primarily manage numerous servers including SQL2k. I consider myself mid level DTS programmer and getting pretty good at SQL Script writing. I've read the power point about the 10 DBA tasks. Is there anything else I should trying to do like get certified?
I think the answer really depends on which direction you want to take in your career and what your goal is ... dba, developer, management? If you figure that out the steps to take in order to get there will become much clearer.
