Can we do databasewise CPU / memory allocation in SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise edition

  • I have one simple question Can we do databasewise CPU / memory allocation in SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise edition

  • No. There's resource governor, but it just controls query memory and cpu, not the buffer pool.

If it's important, install separate instances and configure memory and CPU for them
