What is the best practice for SQL server instance owner ?
Thank you and appreciate your response

I may have misunderstood your question but an instance doesn't have an owner.
Thanks

Agreed with @NorthernSoul.
If you mean how do you set up administrator privileges, I'd suggest that each instance has a different login than the underlying OS. Least privilege principle should be how you set up your systems, all the time. Yes, it's more work, but it's safer.
