BCP/Bulk Insert and Incoming Dates

    Ladies and Gentlemen

         Is their a way to force BCP to accept a Date Value of

              '000000'

         instead of giving an error?

         I am using BULK INSERT with a FORMAT FILE.

    When I'm loading data from other sources (i.e. data not exported from SQL Server), I do not rely on data types.  I BCP into char/varchar fields in a staging table and then use SQL scripts to scrub then move to intermediate or final destination tables.
