backup fails in sql server 2000

    hi friends,

    what to do when backup fails and also gives error sqlmaint.exe fails?

    The error message contains either error code or some kind of description based on which it can be analysed why did the job fail. The reasons can be many...... You can check for error description under maintanance plan history....

    I would then do the 'obvious' and re-run the backup AFTER you have fixed the issue! 😀
