Audit Logging

  • Is there a registry key, or a table in the mater database that contains information on Audit logging? I am trying to automate a process, and want to query the state of audit logging (None, Failure, Success, All) without using EM. Thanks.

Edit: This is SQL 2000 specific.

  • Cody,

    look at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\MSSQLServer\'Auditlevel'

  • Great, Thanks. I was looking in HKLM\SYSTEM not HKLM\SOFTWARE.
