Alter table permission

  Hi All

  Please correct me if I'm wrong? 
  When I grant alter table for a user, but on database level I deny alter for that user; the database level deny alter will overrule the grant alter on object level?

  I imagine so, yes, but why don't you try it, just to make sure?
