  We are trying to install sql server replication feature on SQLServer 2008R2 standard edition in production. Does the sql server have to be rebooted after the feature installation? Will there be a downtime?

  I don't have 2008R2 disc handy, but I did this on 2012 with no restart of SQL Server.
