The Twelve Days of SQL

,

As we come upon the holiday season, it seems that we have all sorts of holiday themes that are reused in children's school plays, silly programs on television, and  now blogs.

Brent Ozar (blog | @brento) came up with the idea of the Twelve Days of SQL recently, and asked a few people to participate. I initially jumped in, but when a 13th person asked to join, I stepped aside. I'll actually provide a review of the 12 days on my blog at the end. You can see the posts in the series here:

The rest of the days are coming soon, and look for them on various blogs throughout the week.

The idea of themes, memes, and tagging other bloggers is an interesting one. It gives people a reason, and hopefully an inspiration, to write and blog. It makes it easy for you to find something to write about, and gives you a chance to participate in this amazing community.

The community is you. All of you out there that somehow join in reading blogs, writing blogs, attending events, volunteering and more. My life is better for getting the chance to know a few of you and I look forward to shaking more hands in 2011.
