Are you in Seattle yet? Still working on getting here? Tomorrow is the first day of regular sessions at this year’s PASS Summit and it’s looking to be a great time. In honor of there being one more day until PASS, here’s a video from last year.

While the summit hasn’t yet officially started, there were a lot of of events going on yesterday. There were pre-cons, meetings with Microsoft and vendors, certifications, SQL in the City and networking dinners. Myself, I spent most of the day making another attempt at the Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) for SQL Server. I’m not too confident that I passed, but I stepped up to the plate and gave it another go.

For those in town last night, I hope you didn’t miss out on the SQL Karaoke that happened. It was almost a packed house and there were only a few awkward moments. Not from the PASS community, though.  The music was great – Darling Nikki, Wicked Game, Wanted, Real Slim Shady, The Bad Touch, and many, many others. Even if SQLKaraoke isn’t for you, be sure to find somewhere to hang out in the evenings because the after hours networking is one of the most important parts of the summit.
