Microsoft MVP 2014 – SQL Server Award

,

MVP_FullColor_ForScreenThis past week, I was awarded with the Microsoft MVP 2014 for SQL Server award.  This is my sixth award in a row and I am deeply appreciative for this recognition from Microsoft.  If you aren’t familiar with the Microsoft’s MVP program, it is an award designed by Microsoft to recognize individuals active in the technology community.  In this case, my award is for the work I do with SQL Server.

It’s a great honor to receive the MVP award and I appreciate this recognition from Microsoft. I’d also like to thank those that have read my blogs, attended my sessions, and basically allowed me to banter about a job that’s more of a hobby than anything else.  Thank you for the comments and advice that help me share and give me an outlet for what I consider just having a good time.

Speaking of presenting, if your user group is looking for a remote speaker, I would love to talk to you.  Leave a comment below or send me an e-mail (it’s my first and last name at gmail).  And if you want to check out what other SQL Server MVPs are up to on Twitter, I’ve got a list of them through that link.

Thanks everyone, hope you enjoy the next year’s series of blogs, articles, and presentations.
