one doubt..Will CASE work the same as DECODE in case of nulls or should we add like
CASE WHEN c1.name IS NULL THEN NULL
...

Thks for the reply..Actually we are doing a database backup regularly.But this is just as a double precautionary measure.It is easier to put in the data back from the backup...
