I had to drop and recreate the transformation in the source environment and then copy again the packages...not a big task but the reason for this is still unknown but...

I've viewed with Excell, notepad, wordpad - cant' find any anomalities. and like I said the customers import wizard works in one computer.... could this be some service pack issue...

Where do you fin fthese? Expressions for FileNameRetrieval and Directory
I don't see them in the Expressions part of the container...

Ok, sounds reasonable. SSDT is 32 bit... but what does the project setting 'Run64BitRuntime' do then...? It affects somehow because Excel loads does not work if that is set to...
