Angeline,
I sure do wish I had updated this thread after. 🙁
I honestly can not recall if the restart solved the problem. I did manage to find some notes I still...

I had great hopes for this idea of yours, @scottpletcher.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have affected index selection. I tried increasing the values orders of magnitudes, to no...

There are a lot of indexes, but an example would be:

[TaskID] INT NOT NULL IDENTITY(1,1) PRIMARY KEY,
[Active] BIT NOT NULL DEFAULT(1),
[TaskTypeID] INT NOT...

Good call, I hadn't enabled the trace flag. I've done this on the secondary (with no affect). I'll enable the trace flag on the primary during the next maintenance window...

My version is 11.0.5623 (SQL2012 SP2 CU7), so it looks like I have that hotfix already, which might be is why I'm not seeing any performance issues at this time,...

I dispensed with the complication of trying to move database files without suspending data movement in the AG.
My final process for moving data and log files for databases in an...

I'm beginning to think this has nothing to do with SCHEMABINDING. Perhaps a schema lock on the PFS? Still, I've never had deadlocks like this show up from dropping...

It looks like this is, in fact, the case; Backing up the transaction log on the read-only secondary replica truncates the transaction log on the primary.
January 28, 2014 at 2:46 pm
What about transaction logs on the primary replica? Will these will need to be manually truncated or will backing up a transaction log on a ROSR truncate the log...
