Windows XP SP2
SQL Server 2000 client tools installed with latest service packs.
In the client network utility --> alias, any aliases I add are no longer there after a reboot. This just started happening a few weeks ago. I have administrative rights and the only thing I have installed since then is an application that installed and uses MSDE 2000, which is probably the culprit. Anyone run into this problem before?
Thanks

Haven't seen it and although I rarely reboot, it hasn't happened to me. Are you running as admin on the XP machine? Maybe they're not being saved?

I've seen this once before, and it turned out to be the login script replacing the part of the registry that contains aliases with a 'corporate' one.
