  Hi good people of SSCF,

  I'm lokoing to create some DTS packages to select soem data from one sql server , import it into some temp tables in another, then perform some queries/updates usign that data. I was wondering whether anyone knew of any good, simple tutorials online. I've had a look on the site, but couldn't seem to find any and the articles are all a bit too specific by the looks of things.

   

  I don't need to do anything fancy- just some basic grounding would prove very helpful i think.

  This is the number one spot for dts tutorials. There are gazillions of articles that are explained very well step by step.
