Finding service account a DTS package is runing under

    Hi. I have a dts job that pulls data off a remote server. the remote server crashed a day ago and all user credentials were lost. we have been asked to re submit the service accounts that our jobs run under so that we can regain access. how do i find out the service account that a job is running under? im using legacy DTS packages brought forward into sql 2005 from sql 2000

    The service account that a job is running under depends on who owns the job. If owner of the job is a sysadmin account then it is the service account for the SQLServerAgent service that you need. If the owner is a Windows account then that's the account you need.
