SQL 2000 ODBC connect to AS400 - what driver?

    Hi - I am trying to find the most reliable driver to access data on a AS400 - DB2.

    On IBM's site it seems that there's a newer version of something called Client Access - iSeries. But have not heard of anyone using it. Then there's varioous 3rd party products.

    Anyone want to recommend something reliable?

    Hey,

    We use IBM Client Access Express to connect to JDE (AS400 on DB2). We use the standard drivers that are installed with that.

    Driver: Client Access ODBC Driver (32-bit)

    Version: 6.00.07.00

    File: CWBODBC.DLL

    We have been using this for 3 years now. It's very reliable.
