Hi,
I upgraded a SQL 7.0 server to SQL 2K, and now have some problems to create scheduled jobs. I just wonder whether I can recreate msdb without rebuilding master db.

Hi there
Can you explain the errors you are getting? perhaps a rebuild is uncalled for and the fix is quite simple.

Chris,
The error message basically said that missing some SPs. We installed a SQL server on the another box with the same name and configuration, and then copied that two msdb data and log files over, it worked.
