Hi all,
i am using sql server 2008.
In change data capture the new tables(Audit tables) are created in that database only.
i want to give other database as destination (capture instance).. is it possible?
please help me ASAP..

I do not think this is possible. At least, there are no options foreseen in the stored procedures to enable CDC that incorporate such a configuration.
Maybe you can "hack" into CDC and alter the functions and jobs so that they can work with a capture instance on another db, but I don't think this is supported by Microsoft 🙂
