I was wondering if anyone has transitioned from a multi-site WFC/AG to a single-site AG. Currently, I have two nodes at each site with a SQL Server instance per site. I would like to eliminate one site altogether, but make the surviving site have synchronous AG with the two remaining nodes. As it stands right now, the surviving site has [Windows] failover capability to the other node.
What would be the best way to transition the one surviving site from WFC to synchronous AG?
