I’m Speaking at the PASS BA Conference

,

PASS BA ConThis May PASS will be hosting their second annual Business Analytics (BA) Conference in San Jose, CA.  The conference brings business analysts together with IT pros for an opportunity to connect and learn together.  The idea being that through our shared experiences we can transform business with the power of data.

At this year’s BA Conference, I’ll be presenting on two topics.  The first is a pre-con on May 7 on Parallel Data Warehouse (PDW).  It’s a full day session called Implementation and Design on the Parallel Data Warehouse.  If you’re new to PDW or looking to add it to your data warehouse offering in the next year or two, this is a must see pre-con.  The other session is a regular session titled, Introduction to PDW Distribution Theory.  The second session looks at PDW’s distribution theory and then importance of it for query execution and the effect of proper distribution on performance.

If you are already planning to attend the conference, check out my pre-con and regular session.  The pre-con is really one that will be great for anyone looking to PDW.  If you haven’t decided yet on whether to attend the BA Conference, give it a thought.  When it comes to delivering either business intelligence or analytics on the Microsoft platform, there is the place to be.
