Access rights to modify the scheduled runtimed for a specific maintenance plan

    Hi

    We need to give a user access rights to change the schedule for a database backup maintenance plan. This is for one specific maintenance plan only, not all the other maintenance plans we have on the server.

    What access rights do I need to give a user exactly to only do this specific task and is there a way of restricting the access to one specific maintenance task only?

    Please help urgently

    The other option would be to grant them access to modify the job schedule only. Have given them access to the SQL Agent roles in msdb, they can view and execute jobs, but not modify the schedule. This is the only thing extra they need access to. Still totally unsure how to go about that.
