Is this is necessary to install SSIS or SSRS on production box.

    Hi All,

    Is this is necessary to install SSIS or SSRS on production to do run SSIS packages or generatle reports.?

    Normally , on PRD box its not required to install reporting services unless required, but we use ssis for many data pulls,maintenance plan so SSIS is ok.

    Not necessary to install SSIS and SSRS on Live Server..

    I always install all services on a prod box. And then run off all that are not needed. It is easier to turn on a service than it is to try and install something on a prod box once it is working.
