Minnesota SQL Server Study Group (July)

Study Group

For the past few months, I’ve been openly working towards the SQL Server MCM.  I failed a couple times (written exam and lab) and passed one time (written exam).  As part of working towards the MCM, I’ve been getting together to study with some friends and members of the local SQL Server community.

To make things a little easier for those that want to join in on the study group, I decided to put schedule so that others could easily figure out when I was looking for peers to study with.  While browsing around, I found out that Marlon Ribunal (Blog | @MarlonRibunal) was already one step ahead of me.  A while back, he setup a SQL Server Study Group Meetup group.  Rather than create something of my own, I’ll be scheduling my future study groups through this site.

For July, we’ll be having the following two study groups:

If you are interested in joining us, we meet on an open format to talk about anything SQL Server related.  The premise is that our questions will be more interesting than having specific topics each time.

If you aren’t local and want to get together with people, find a place and a time and schedule your own meetup.  Advertise it with your own user group community and get learning.  And, of course, if you are local and want to have a focused group, another date or time, or different location, please feel free to throw your own up as well.
