SSIS package running slow in dtexec than BIDS

    SSIS package running slow in dtexec than BIDS. I have set of XML data in XML Column in SQL server(say 500 records)) that needs to be fetched and processed to flat file.

    The Same package takes 4 times the greater time when exceuting using dtexec utility than executing in BIDS.

    Can anybody help?

    When you say slower in dtexec do you mean dtexec.exe or dtexecui.exe?

    I found that dtexecui ran very slowly (I believe that this is a known issue and is due to the UI updating progress information)

    However the dtexec utility ran significantly faster than dtexecui and BIDS for my packages.

    Using Dtexec UI .

    It seems we need to uncheck {Check for publisher revocation certificate} option in Internet options, so that it cuts off the time checking for it.
