Book Recommendation

  • I've decided to learn Reporting Services but haven't done reporting for a number of years. I tried the Virtual labs but they are a little to basic. Nothing has leaped out at me browsing books on Amazon.

I'm interested in a very hands on book with lots of labs exercises. If you have a recommendation I'd love to hear about.

  • Me to... does anyone have a recommendation on this?

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.
"Change is inevitable... change for the better is not".

  • I am following a book on 2008 SSRS.

"Applied Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services" by TEO LACHEV

    Good Luck.

  • I think I'm going to go with :
