Transactional Replication in sql server 2008

    Hi All,

    I have configured transactional in sql server 2008. It is working file.

    To improve performance we are planning to change MaxCmdsInTrans property but I don't find this property in log reader agent and distribution agent profiles even I unchecked show all properties in the profile .

    Please let me how to configure this option for log reader and distribution agent.

    This is an urgent issue for me

    Have you searched BOL?

    Replication Log Reader Agent

    It is a switch you need to set, not an option that is already listed.

    Hi Joe,

    I don't know how to set , Can you please explain how to set this switch clearly.

    I searched so many articles every where they specified it as parameter.

    Please give me some article or notes to set this option.

    Launch Replication Monitor, navigate to the publication, select the "Warnings and Agents" tab and then right click on the "Log Reader Agent" and select properties.

    This will show you details of the SQL Agent job that is used to run the log reader agent. Edit the second step (should be called "Run Agent") and add the parameter to the list of parameter already specified.

    Repeat the above for the distribution agent.
