Transactional Replication in sql server 2008

    Hi All,

    I configured transactional replication in sql server 2008 with 2 publishers and 2 subscribers and one distributor through ssms but i find that only one log reader agent for both publishers. To improve the performance i am planning to configure individual log reader agents ,is there any option to create independent log reader agent through ssms.Please suggest me on this.

    I am not sure if you can have more than one log reader agent and I do not think it is necessary. Log reader does not do anything else other than just get the changes for the distributor database. You will most probably see bottleneck on your IO and distributor database. That is what you have to watch out for. Are all these DB's on separate servers? What is the configuration for these servers?
