source db2 error 0x80040E21

    Hi,

    When I am trying to build a query from a DB2 source but I am getting the following error:

    "Error at Data Flow Task - Header Load [OlE DB Source - Header_Load[1]]": An OLE DB Error has occurred. Error Code: 0x80040E21

    When I am selecting a table it works fine, but when I am using the sql command it is not working at all.

    I have already tried to add the name of the table to the openrowset but still - it is not working.

    I really appreciate your help!

    hi there,

    not too fimiliar with db2, but the principals should stand.

    if your query is correct try testing your odbc connection. did you try and coonect with this via windows?

    Everything is correct, it seems like a bug...I thought that maybe someone have seen this problem before and has a solution.
