Analysis Database (Cube) Does not Refresh

  Dear All,

  I rebuilt an OLAP cube and run XMLA script to refresh new incoming data everyday. But recently, I found the report failed to be updated in Excel 2007. I tried following methods:

  1. Delete the analysis database and run XMLA. The data can be refreshed correctly in Excel.

  2. Restart the Analysis service and run XMLA again. The data failed to be refreshed.

  I dont think deleting the analysis database makes sense to solve this problem. Should I set any flag when I build the cube to automate refresh? Can anyone throw any light on this problem?

  I found the root cause just now. The reason is I replaced Process option from ProcessFull to ProcessDefault when I updated the XMLA.
