Sql 2005 query results into xls format

    I'm trying to save my query results in a grid format just like excel. The management studio only lets you save the results as csv. Which turns out horrible in excel.

    Should I use another tool to query with?

    Well, you can copy-and-paste from Management Studio to Excel, if that helps.

    Otherwise, SSIS is really good at exporting query results to Excel.
