Animals are near and dear to my heart, to the point where I have a cat even though I am partially allergic to them. Therefore, even though the following story has nothing to do with computers, it's something I feel compelled to post to get the word out:
It apparently only affects wet foods ("cuts and gravy"), so if you tend to buy that for your dog or cat, check to see if your brand is on the recall list. Quite a few are affected, including some well-known name brands, such as Eukanuba.
Update: Well, this has struck home. I've learned that one of my relatives' dogs has died because of the recalled food. Sandy, you will be deeply missed. 🙁
