I have a SQL 2005 publication I am trying to push to a SQL 2000 subscriber. The 2005 is the distributor and publisher. When I try to add the subscription on the 2000 server, I receive the following error.
Microsoft SQL Server management Studio is unable to access replication components because replication is not installed on this instance of SQL Server.
Is there something I need to install on the 2000 side. I have already install SQL Server Management Studio on the 2000.

There are replication components that need to be installed when you install SQL2000. Try to re-install from CD.

I assume the replication objects are SQL 2005 objects that must be installed on the SQL 2000 server. Where exactly are they located on the CD distribution. (Under what option)
Thanks

No. SQL2000 replication objects are to be installed from SQL2000 install CD on your SQL2000 db server.
