many sql instances on a cluster

    I have a two nodes active/pasive cluster with four instances of sql 2005 sp1. I'm looking to apply sp2 on two of them. Given this configuration, does anyone know about any issue generated by the fact that sql instances run under different versions? Thank you in advance.

    We have a server with 5 instances of SQL 2k5 and we had one instance running RTM for several weeks after the other 4 had been upgraded with SP2 (we skipped SP1 altogether).  You shouldn't have any trouble upgrading only 2 of them to SP2.  Remember to upgrade your tools.
