Hi all,
I am leaving my position to go back east and have been asked to find someone to replace me. The company is Amadeus Revenue Integrity located in Tucson AZ. Unfortunately no relocation will be offered at this time. Here are the requirements.
The MS SQL Server DBA will be involved in:
. Configuration, installation, maintenance of all Windows 2000/2003 servers hosting MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
. Evaluation and creation of new database requests for a variety of applications
. Patch management, deployment and mitigation for MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005, including testing procedures
. Optimizing MS SQL Server Performance / Partitioning / database indexing / TSQL / Stored Procedures
. Disaster Recovery planning, MS SQL Server backup configuration and maintenance.
. Diagnosis of MS SQL Server problems and Application Support
Qualifications:
Requirements:
. 5+ years of experience as a MS SQL Server DBA.
. Proficiency with MS SQL Server management tools including Query Analyzer.
. Experience with database management jobs, DTS packages, SSIS packages and overall performance monitoring.
. Experience with mixed-mode authentication and database security issues.
. Thorough understanding of OLE & ODBC connections from a variety of applications.
. A solid understanding of Windows server architecture and Windows networking concepts.
. Excellent documentation skills and communication skills, both written and verbal, with exquisite customer service skills.
. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. Highly tuned problem solving and analytical skills a must.
Candidates must be highly self-motivated, a strong team player, driven to excellence and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to handle many tasks simultaneously and prioritize work at all stages.
Must be able to execute and deliver on core database technology infrastructure issues.

As far as I know the position has not been filled but I am no longer there
