Not sure what I need to be SRS capable....

    I'm new to SRS and I have a customer (developer) who is taking over support for a system here that uses SRS.  The developer has Visual Studio.net installed on his PC along w/MSDE.  What else does he need in order to manage/develop SRS reports?

    They should also install the developer edition of SSRS, this will then mean they can open *.rdl files in their VS, otherwise it doesn't recognize the file format as being an RS report.
