Delete System Stored Procs?

    Is it possible or even safe to delete system stored procedures (ie - xp_cmdshell) from the SQL Server database? I want to know so I can safely "button up" my SQL Server. Thanks in advance.

    Not sure which if any can be safely deleted and not sure I would go that route. I previously saw a thread here somewhere with a discussion thou of how to limit these so that not just anyone could run them, I beleiev it was in the security forums somewhere.
