hi friend
i my organisation we are maintain some 4 server
in 1 server we have 13 database .. we configured in simple recovery model
we are taking full backup in Monday and Friday and every 3 hour diff backup
in normal days diff backup size is 5 mb to 100 mb but in Sunday its coming 500 mb to 4 gb
in sunday maximum no access to database ..
please help me in this issue

Differential backups are cumulative - in other words, they contain all of the changes in the database since the last full backup.
In your case, I would expect to find a weekly maintenance plan that performs a reindex and/or update statistics (probably both) during the weekend. If I am understanding correctly, you are performing a full backup every night Monday through Friday - and no full backups during the weekend.
