Connection manager for excel version 2007

  • Hi,

I'd like to export table with more 66 000 rows to excel 2007.

In SSIS connection manager setings - if I chose excel I can't find option to select excel 2007.

There is only 97-2005. Does anyone know some update location to have option(upgrade) in order to get excel 2007 in connection manager?

Check this article. You have to use different connection manager.

  • You might want to read this and the do the download as well as follow CozyRoc's link.

    From the above url:

This download will install a set of components that can be used by non-Microsoft Office applications to read data from and write data to 2007 Office system files such as Microsoft Office Access 2007 (mdb and accdb) files and Microsoft Office Excel 2007 (xls, xlsx, and xlsb) files. Connectivity to text files is also supported.

ODBC and OLEDB drivers are installed for application developers to use in developing their applications with connectivity to Office file formats.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
